Welcome to this space.

I hope being here serves you.

Whether you are new to counselling or have previous experience, my intention is to meet you where you are, offer support, and collaborate with you in a therapeutic process that aligns with your goals and what will bring greater ease or meaning to your life.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario.

I come to this work through my own unexpected twists and turns along life’s journey. Because of this, I deeply appreciate how feelings such as unsettledness, anxiousness, low mood, reduced vitality, or a lack of purpose can impact one’s sense of self and relation to the world. I appreciate your courage and effort in seeking support to feel better or improve your wellbeing.

My approach is to create space for the complexities of your lived experience. An offering to been seen, heard and attuned to; and if appropriate an offering of tools that support authentic self-expression, deeper self-awareness, and a stronger sense of autonomy.

I have two areas of focus in my work.

My first area of focus is supporting individuals experiencing chronic pain or persistent health concerns. Chronic pain can be deeply disruptive, often affecting many areas of life, including work, relationships, mood, and overall quality of life. My approach integrates current developments in neuroscience with compassionate, client-centered counselling to support a deeper understanding of the mind–body connection in chronic pain.

I utilize Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), an evidence-based approach that helps retrain the brain’s response to pain signals and reduce persistent pain symptoms. In our work together, we explore factors that may be maintaining pain patterns while developing practical tools to support nervous system regulation, a sense of safety, and symptom reduction.

My second area of focus is couples and relational (two-person) counselling. As humans, we are biologically wired for connection, and our closest relationships often play a central role in helping us feel seen, heard, and supported. When disconnection occurs, it can lead to feelings of instability, fear, or loneliness. I am continually inspired by the courage my clients bring to this work and the meaningful growth that can emerge when both individuals are willing to engage in the process together.

While these are my areas of focus, I welcome supporting clients in other areas of concerns or discomfort and invite questions or inquiries about my approach.

I recognize that finding the right therapist can feel challenging. I encourage individuals to book a free consultation before scheduling a first session. The client–counsellor relationship is an important factor in meaningful therapeutic work. No one therapist is the right fit for everyone, and if it would be helpful, I am happy to offer referrals to support you in finding a therapist who feels like the right match.
